There are two Rock Gordo slimes located in Indigo Quarry. ![]() The first one is after the cave entry tunnel at the back of the area. Use the ramp on the side to find the pit with the Rock Gordo. Instead of Slime Keys, Rock Gordo Slimes are among the few Gordos that drop Teleporters. Tabby Gordo Slime location Tabby Gordo Slime © Monomi Park One will make access to your ranch easier, and the other will give you access to Volcano Island. There’s two Tabby Gordos hidden around the Dry Reef. Head toward the bridge that takes you to Moss Blanket. On the right, you'll see a Tabby Gordo Slime in a small alcove just before the wooden bridge. Popping it will allow you to access a teleporter that takes you back to the Ranch. ![]() The other Tabby Gordo Slime is located on its own island near the beach after you unlock the Overgrowth expansion. Phosphor Gordo Slime location Phosphor Gordo Slime © Monomi Park Popping this Tabby Gordo will reveal a teleporter that allows you to access the Ring Island in the distance, where the second Pink Gordo Slime is located. There’s only one Phosphor Gordo and it can be found hidden along the edge of the end of Dry Reef inside of a cave. Head through the short tunnel that separates the two main sections of the Dry Reef. Before going to the second area where the Tabby Gordo is located, walk to the wall on your left and jump over. You'll land on a narrow path below that leads to a Slime Door, but don't go that way. Instead, turn around (face away from the Slime Sea) and behind you will be a cave with the Phosphor Gordo inside. Rad Gordo Slime location Rad Gordo Slime © Monomi Park The Phosphor Gordo Slime will drop a Slime Key when fed enough food (Cuberry is its favorite). The log and archive of one of the research drones states that the (currently-unnamed) rancher had a batch of cookies stolen by a Ringtail after taking a break from jogging in Starlight Strand. The Rad Gordo Slime is radioactive, which means it can harm you with radiation. Tanukis are also somewhat known for being thieves and cheats, another aspect that the Ringtail Slime seems to share. It also appears visually similar to a Japanese raccoon dog, otherwise known as a Tanuki.Īnother aspect it shares with the Tanuki is its ability to turn in to stone Something that Tanukis are believed to be able to perform as well. The slime may be based on the ring-tailed cat, a species of raccoon known for its striped tail. This slime will also eat even when it is not hungry, consuming the food without creating a plort in return. Similar to other slimes affected by sunlight, a Solar Shield upgrade on a corral will prevent this behavior. In the light, this slime turns in to a Stone Statue that you can pick up similarly to a Crate or Toy, but while in the dark this slime will turn back to normal. Such things could be something as essential as sturdy shelter on a faraway island, or as simple as a collection of family photos that could survive a trek across the scorching desert. And similar to pink plorts, Ringtail plorts are very malleable, allowing a clever person to craft a wide range of things that can stand the test of time. Materials developed from Ringtail plorts are extremely resilient, actually hardening in the face of UV rays. ![]() ![]() If you plan on ranching these ravenous rascals, keep an eye out for a mischievous expression to know when to avoid feeding them. And they offer nothing in return because a Ringtail slime stops producing plorts when it would otherwise be full. Just one Ringtail slime is capable of wiping out an entire farm if given the time. Once a Ringtail slime starts eating, it will never stop. And while we're not saying this is an ancient curse, they're definitely the type of slime who would have an ancient curse if that was a thing. The reason for this exclusively moonlit crime spree is that ringtails have a peculiar condition that transforms them into stone when exposed to sunlight. Theft under cover of darkness is their favorite hobby and they delight in getting away with as much as possible before the sun rises.
